The item has beautiful cut squares on the ends, but it has one 1/2" long chip on the middle section and several tiny chips and/or knife pricks both on the ends and on the middle section. The glass also has a slightly yellowed appearance. The price has been reduced, and the item is being sold "as is" because of the chips. Look at the photos for details. 

Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
