The item has beautiful color, but it has a manufacturing flaw on the top of the rim. The flaw looks like a crack under the glaze. The sides of the platter are turned up more than some platters in other patterns. The item is 2" tall. The price has been reduced for the flaw, and the item is being sold "as is". Look at the photos for details. 

Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
