The item is new and in unused condition with tags attached. The three feet of the stand have plastic covers to help protect the surface of the table. If desired, the plastic covers may be easily removed. The stand is made of square metal wire. The manufacturer describes the stand as being a dark mahogany painted finish, and it has reddish highlights. The manufacturer does not provide suggested measurements of the bowl or platter for this display stand, but the display stand will accommodate a variety of sizes. Photos showing a 9 7/8" x 5 7/8" oval serving bowl and a 12 3/4" x 9 7/8" platter have been provided. We also have a smaller 10.85" tall stand in another listing. Look at the photos for details.
