The item is in good condition with beautiful color, but there are gold wear and scratches on the handles and trim. There is also a chip on the inside ridge where the lid would rest. The chip is not visible when the lid is in place. The lid also has a small indentation on the edge in the gold trim and a few dark specs in the glaze on the underside. The item is being sold "as is" because of the chip. Look at the photos for details.

Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
