The item has a beautiful pink border, but each plate has wear which has created a reduction in price. One plate has crazing (spider web like lines), two small chips on the edge, spots of light discoloration on the edge, and utensil marks from normal use. Another plate has crazing (spider web like lines), several small nicks on the edge, light discoloration all along the edge, utensil marks from heavy use, and it has lost its glossy appearance. The price has been reduced for the wear, and the item is being sold "as is". Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
