The item is in good condition with a beautiful cut design, but there is a tiny nick on the inside top edge of the base and several chips on the bottom of the globe which sits on the base. The chips are not noticeable when the globe is sitting on the base. The hurricane lamp will hold a 2 3/4" diameter pillar candle. Look at the photos for details. 

Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
