The item is in good condition with beautiful embossed detail, but the base has a chip on the inside of the edge. The inside of the lid also has spots of discoloration. The top edge of the base under the duck's tail feathers was intentionally left unglazed. The item is being sold "as is" for the chip. Look at the photos for details. 

Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
