The item is in good condition with a beautiful design, but it has a few worn to black spots near the pierced wall. The pierced wall is 1 1/4" tall. The gadroon edge on top of the pierced wall is 3/4" wide which allows the tray to be easily held and carried. The tray is stamped "Wm ROGERS" on the underside. Look at the photos for details. 

Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
