The item is in good condition for its age, but it is an antique and has a small chip on the top edge of the spout. The dishes were probably made between 1882 and 1891 in Merklin, Czechoslovakia. The gravy has wear on the gold trim and a few small dark dots under the glaze. The bottom ring where the gravy would rest on a plate has a few indentations from the manufacturing process. This item does not have a manufacturer's backstamp. The photo of the BSM backstamp and the number 7 is from a salad plate of the same pattern. Look at the photos for details.

Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
