The item is in good condition for its age, but it is an antique. The dishes were probably made between 1882 and 1891 in Merklin, Czechoslovakia. The bowl has significant wear on the gold trim and a few small dark dots under the glaze. There is also a spot of discoloration inside of the bowl at the bottom. This item does not have a manufacturer's backstamp. The photo of the BSM backstamp and the number 7 is from a salad plate of the same pattern. Look at the photos for details.

Packaging will be appropriate for the delicate nature of the item.
